The Granite Belt District

Only two and a half hours drive from Brisbane, Ballandean Lodge is right in the centre of the Granite Belt Wine Country. There are 20 wineries within 5 km of Ballandean Lodge. Also the beautiful and unique Girraween and Bald Rock National Parks close by and easily accessible.

Each season is unique. Summer has fresh local berries and stone fruit available to enjoy at the time or to stock up and take home. Autumn brings the grape harvest and then the explosion of reds, yellow and orange as the landscape prepares for winter.

Our winter is famous for the misty mornings, crystal clear days, vivid sunsets and cosy nights beside the log fire sipping your new favourite wine or port.
